First Cedar Creek Baptist Church hosting Good Friday services this evening

Friday, April 18, 2014 — The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church invites the community to attend a “Good Friday” service tonight at 7 p.m.

Scripture readings from Matthew 26 and 27 and a devotional message entitled “His Cross – Our Cross” will be presented. The adult choir will sing two songs from their Easter cantata including the signature song, “Jesus, Only Jesus” and “Man of Sorrows.” Choir members Pam Talbott and Peggy Rountree will also present “For What Earthly Reason”.

All are encouraged to attend this special service and other activities of the church including Bible study for all age groups at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday. For more information contact the pastor, Tim Lucas (502) 348-3832.

The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church is located 5 miles west of Bardstown off Boston Road (Hwy 62) on Bellwood Road (Hwy 733).
