GLORIA VANOY BRIGHT
Gloria Vanoy Bright, 72, of Bradfordsville, died Friday, April 18, 2014, at her home. She was born Sept. 13, 1941, in Casey County. She was a member of the Bradfordsville Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Elnora Randolph Vanoy; and three brothers, Garland Vanoy, Boyd Vanoy and Wilbur Vanoy.
Survivors include her husband, Porter Bright of Bradfordsville; one daughter, Amy (Kevin) Purdom of Bradfordsville; three sons, Michael (Kim) Bright, Kevin Bright, Keith (Melinda) Bright, all of Bradfordsville;
two sisters, Darlene Qualls of Junction City and Mildred Followell of Manilla, Ind.; two brothers, Stanley Vanoy of Hustonville and Leland Vanoy of Lancaster; eight grandchildren, Casey Bright, Joshua Bright, Dylan Bright, Aaron Bright, Ariel Bright, Andrew Bright, Kyle Purdom and Wesley Purdom.
The funeral was 11 a.m. today at the Bradfordsville Baptist Church officiated by Rev. John Simpson. Burial was in the Old Liberty cemetery.
Visitation was Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Bosley Funeral Home and Monday at the church.
Expressions of Sympathy may take the form of contributions made to the Bradfordsville Baptist Church Building Fund.
The Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
