Obituary: Sara Lynn White Carter, 75, Nelsonville

Sara Lynn White Carter, 75, of Nelsonville, died April 24, 2014, at Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born funeral_flowerand raised by her late parents, John Tom and Kate Breedlove White in Langdale, Ala. She was a Baptist by faith and a member of the Rolling Fork Baptist Church where she was involved with the Helps Ministry, Vacation Bible School and a member of the Little Chicks Sunday School class.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Hugh “Bobby” Carter; one daughter, Gina Lynn Cundiff (Stacey) of New Haven; two sons, Gregory Allen “Greg” Carter of Nelsonville and David Wayne Carter (Theresa) of Boston; one sister, Janice Gail White of Valley, Ala.; four grandchildren, Nathan Allen Carter (Jennifer), Jenna Rochelle Carter, Kylie Gail Carter and Logan Thomas King; and three great-grandchildren, Payton Alivia, Hailey Addison and Kynlee Paige Carter.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2014, at the Rolling Fork Baptist Church in Boston with Bro. Bruce Nichols presiding. Burial is in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2014, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven and 9-11 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2014, at the Rolling Fork Baptist Church in Boston.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Rolling Fork Baptist Church, 615 Rolling Fork Church Road, Boston, KY 40107.
