KSP seeking public’s help to ID possible witnesses to Botland murders

Friday, April 25, 2014, 4:30 p.m. — The Kentucky State Police are asking for the public’s assistance to identify possible witnesses to the murders of Kathy Netherland and her daughter, Samantha last week.
Police say the murders happened at about 8 p.m. on Monday, April 21.
KSP have identified three vehicles that were traveling northbound on US150, the Springfield Road from Botland in the direction of Bardstown.
The first vehicle is a dark-colored Ford F-350 or F-450 flatbed pickup truck pulling a 20-24 foot cattle trailer. The second vehicle is a 2006 or newer four-door, black Chevrolet Impala similar to the one depicted in the stock photo at right.
The third vehicle is a mid-to-late 1990s red Ford Ranger Supercab stepside pickup truck with aftermarket fenders and a sticker on the rear passenger side window.
Investigators believe the occupants of these vehicle may have witnessed something and seek the public’s help in identifying them.
