JAVID ANTHONY ‘JAY’ CLOSE

Javid Anthony “Jay” Close, 35, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014. He was a three-time cancer survivor who battled the disease right to the end.

He is survived by his parents, Clifford and Shahla Anvari Close; two brothers, Daniel Close and Shannon Close; his grandmother, Joyce Anvari; his fiancé, Tasha Hagan; and a host of friends.

The funeral is 7 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Louisville.

Visitation is 1-7 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014, at the funeral home.

Newcomer Funeral Home in Louisville is in charge of arrangements.
