HUDIE BELLE DOWNS
Hudie Belle Downs, 60, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born October 25, 1953, in Nelson County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Virgil Downs; her parents Everett and Juanita Downs; one sister, Aggie Downs; and one granddaughter, Amber Raquel Ramsey.
She is survived by one daughter, Tami Downs of Bardstown; one son, Chad (Peggy) Downs of New Haven; two sisters, Janice Downs and Joyce Hagan, both of Bardstown; two brothers, Nelson Downs of New Haven and Raymond Downs of Bardstown; six grandchildren, Chad Ryan Downs, Merrick Joel Ramsey, Joseph Brett Ragg, Chasity Brooke Ritchie, Alicia Maria Juarez and Megan Danielle Downs; and one great-grandson, Carter Alexander Ritchie.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery. The Rev. Eldon Morgan will officiate.
Visitation is 3 – 8 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2014, and 9 – 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown.
Memorial contributions may go toward the funeral service.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
