Woman who shot her husband during dispute is indicted for assault

Wednesday, May 7, 2014, 7 p.m. — The Bardstown woman who allegedly shot her husband during a domestic dispute on Monday, April 21 was indicted Wednesday, May 7, 2014, by a Nelson County grand jury on a charge of first-degree assault.

Following the shooting, Jill Lundy, 30, called 911 to report she shot her husband, Mark Lundy, and he was being taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment. While searching the Lundy’s Woodlawn Road home, police discovered an extensive indoor marijuana growing operation at the home, along with several pounds of processed marijuana.

Jill Lundy’s bail is the same as set by Nelson District Court after her arrest. She is scheduled for arraignment in Nelson Circuit Court at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2014.
