Obituary: Willard Chesser, 81, Chaplin
Willard Chesser, 81, of Chaplin, died Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Baptist Health Care in Louisville. He was a native of 
Washington County, a retired employee of General Electric and a member of the Bloomfield Church of God of Prophecy.
He was the son of the late Cecil R. and Ophie Chesser. He was preceded in death by one sister, Vesta Lee Hoagland.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Shouse Chesser; one daughter, Lois (Kenny) Prewitt of Shelbyville; two sons, Trace (Holly) Chesser of Goshen and Donnie (Michelle) Chesser of Loisville; one sister, Barbara (Ronnie) Morris of Mount Washington; two brothers, Gene (Norma) Chesser of Shepherdsville and Billy (Barbara) Chesser of Mount Washington; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2014, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Millard Ledford and Bro. Rex Chesser officiating. Burial is in the Maple Grove Cemetery at Bloomfield.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Sunday, May 11, 2014, at the funeral home.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Bloomfield Church of God of Prophecy.
The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
