Local graduates among McKendree University’s Class of 2014
Monday, May 12, 2014, 7:30 a.m. — McKendree University is pleased to announce the following local students are among its Class of 2014 graduates:
- Robert Cecil of Bardstown, MBA in Business Administration.
- Crystal Hazelwood-Taylor of Bloomfield, BSN in Nursing.
- Teresa Perkins of New Haven, BSN in Nursing.
- Nena Hoenck of Campbellsville, MSN in Nursing Management.
The university held its 174th commencement exercises on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at the Lebanon, Ill. campus. Graduates at the Louisville and Radcliff campuses will receive their diplomas on June 7. The Class of 2014 includes 908 graduates of the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Education, and School of Nursing and Health Professions. They hail from 16 states and four countries.
McKendree University is a College of Distinction, among “America’s 100 Best College Buys,” and recognized as a “Military Friendly School” by Victory Media for 2014. Founded in 1828, the historic Lebanon, Ill., campus is 25 miles from downtown St. Louis. McKendree also has campuses in Louisville and Radcliff, and offers programs at Scott Air Force Base and other sites throughout Illinois and Kentucky.
