Obituary: Jacob Lee Duncan, 25, of Louisville
Jacob Lee Duncan, 25, of Louisville, died Friday, May 9, 2014, in a fishing accident in Glendale, Ind.
He was born in Elizabethtown and was a Baptist by faith. He was employed by Graphic Packing International and he was an avid outdoorsman.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Lonnie Duncan; and his grandfather, Richard Franklin Duncan.
He is survived by his daughter, Madison Figley; his fiancé, Christy Corbin; one stepson, Gavin Corbin; his mother, Vera Forrester; his mom, Jodi Duncan; one sister, Jessica Duncan; four brothers, Jonathan Duncan (Jody), Jimmy Perry, Jason Perry and Jimmy Duncan; his grandmother, Marie Duncan; three nephews Dakota Duncan, Klayton Duncan and Austin Holt; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven. Burial is in the Rolling Fork Baptist Church Cemetery in Boston with the Rev. Lester Belmar officiating.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014, and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may go to the Madison Shay Figley Fund at the funeral home.
