Obituary: Johnnie Dale Tingle, 54, Gravel Switch
JOHNNIE DALE TINGLE
Johnnie Dale Tingle, 54, of Gravel Switch, died Tuesday, May 13, 2014. He was born Feb. 5, 1960, in DeKalb, Ill. He was a home improvement contractor.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Robert Tingle; and one brother, Terry Douglas Tingle.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Gordon Tingle of Gravel Switch; one daughter, Kara DeNora Tingle; one son, Travis Dale Tingle of Gravel Switch; his mother, Bonnie Dayle Pinkston Tingle of Harrodsburg; his father and mother-in-law, Sidney and Carol Gordon of Gravel Switch; two sisters, Kathy Ann Sansford (Gary) and Debbie Gayle Elliott (Pete), both of Harrodsburg; one brother, Tony Allen Tingle of Harrodsburg; two brothers-in-law, Rodney Gordon and Scott Gordon; three grandchildren, Austin, Terry, Nora; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 3 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014, at the Gravel Switch Baptist Church with the Rev. John Hedgewood and the Rev. Stewart Benningfield officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8:30 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014, at Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Kara Tingle Walk for Answers Fund and may be made at Bosley Funeral Home.
The Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
