Motorcycle operator injured in single-vehicle crash near High Grove

Sunday, May 26, 2014, 3 p.m. — A 67-year-old male motorcycle rider was injured Sunday afternoon in a single-vehicle accident on Louisville Road and Hialeah Drive south of High Grove. Nelson County EMS and police were dispatched at about 2 p.m. to the accident scene. The victim complained to EMS of back pain, abrasions and shoulder pain and swelling. He was transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
