ROSE MARIE AKIN

Rose Marie Akin, 62, of Hodgenville died Wednesday, May 21, 2014. She was born Oct. 31, 1951, in Owosso Mich. She was a Catholic by faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dominick Thomas and Mary Magdalene Petrovich Rolando; her first husband, Jake O’Neal; her second husband, Gary Akin; and one son Jakie, O’Neal.

Survivors include Four sisters, Mary Ann Haak (Tim) of Muskegon, Mich., Diana Space (Dave) of Greensboro, N.C., Loretta Hadwin (Tom) of Grandville, Mich., and Ester Perez (Mike) of Holt, Mich.; one brother, Joe Rolando of Owosso, Mich.;  one stepson, Todd Akin (Coletta); and three grandchildren, Ruthie Akin, Sophie Akin and James Akin.

The funeral was 2 p.m. Monday, May 26, 2014, at the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Greensburg with Bro. Scott Akin officiating. Burial was in the Bethlehem Community Cemetery.
