Obituary: Timothy ‘Timmy’ Dewayne Skaggs, 52, of Bonnieville, formerly of Hodgenville

Timothy “Timmy” Dewayne Skaggs, 52, of Bonnieville, formerly of Hodgenville, died Sunday, May 25, 2014, at his home. He was a truck driver for Dan Sullivan and a member of the Mount Zion Separate Baptist Church.

funeral_flowerHe was preceded in death by his parents, James “Bob” and Judy Owen Skaggs; one grandson, Keetyn Cundiff; and his grandparents.

Survivors include one son, Timothy “T.J.” Skaggs Jr. of Magnolia; two daughters, Brittani Skaggs of Sellersburg, Ind., and Brooke Skaggs of Irvington; three sisters, Tamela French of Lebanon Junction, Andrea (Adam) Helm of Magnolia and Sandrea (Morris) Dobson of Summersville; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel with the Rev. Roger Pepper officiating. Burial is in the Mount Zion Separate Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, and 9-11 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014, at the funeral home.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home, Hodgenville Chapel, 612 N. Lincoln Blvd. is in charge of arrangements.
