‘Brooks & Company’ to take your phone calls during ‘Open Lines Tuesday’

STAFF REPORT

Tuesday, May 27, 2014, 7 a.m. – Tuesday’s “Brooks & Company” will be an “Open Lines Tuesday,” giving listeners an brooks-and-co-295-banner-auopportunity to sound-off on the issues they wish to discuss.

Among today’s topics: The Primary Election — will the Republican party unite behind Mitch McConnell? Or will a fractured GOP benefit Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes? In the wake of the mass murder of college students in Santa Barbara, Calif., there are renewed calls for gun control. Is gun control the answer to prevent these types of senseless shootings?  And finally, the North Third Street Road Diet:  Is it working better and has your opinion changed?

Listeners are invited to sound-off on these and any other topic on their minds this morning from 11 to noon on WBRT 1320 AM, 97.1 FM and streaming live online. Call the WBRT studio line, (502) 348-2222 to join the show!

“Brooks & Company” airs from 11 to noon every Tuesday on WBRT 1320 AM, 97.1 FM and streaming live, www.WBRT Country.com and www.NelsonCountyGazette.com.
