Obituary: Frances Josephine ‘Jo’ Kilijian, 86, Bardstown
Frances Josephine “Jo” Kilijian, 86, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. She was a former employee of the Red Cross Shoe Company and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and reading.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Kilijian; her parents, John and Rosie Miles; one son, Jimmy Laswell; two sisters, Marie Lyvers and Maeola Lewis; and two brothers, William Miles and Elmer Miles.
She is survived by three sons, Roger Laswell of Camp Verde, Ariz., Billy Laswell of Radcliff, and Ray Laswell of Cox’s Creek; two sisters, Geneva Donahue and Carmie Rogers, both of Bardstown; one brother, Bobby Miles of New Haven; five grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Joe Batcheldor will be officiate.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014, and 8-9:15 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may go towards Masses.
