Obituary: Lois Ann Washburn, 61, Loretto
Lois Ann Washburn, 61, of Loretto, died Thursday, May 29, 2014, at her home. She was born July 15, 1952, in 
Nelson County. She was a former homemaker and a Catholic by faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Washburn; her parents, John Richard and Pauline “Polly” Powell Mattingly; and one brother, Joseph Daniel “Skeeter” Mattingly.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Washburn (Jenny) of Loretto and Wayne Washburn (Malena) of Springfield; one brother, J.R. Mattingly of Loretto; and five stepgrandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 6785 Highway 52, St. Francis with burial to follow in the New Hope Baptist Church cemetery, 3909 Valley Hill Road in Springfield.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2014, at the Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.
Memorial contributions may go toward burial expenses.
Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of arrangements.
