Driver injured in rollover crash on High Grove Road in Bloomfield

Sunday, June 1, 2014, 11:21 p.m. — One person was injured Sunday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash in the 9700 block of High Grove Road in Bloomfield. The Northeast Nelson Fire Department, Nelson County EMS and police were dispatched to the crash at 12:11 p.m. According to witnesses, the vehicle struck a utility pole and turned over. The victim suffered a head injury and was transported by EMS directly to University Hospital in Louisville.
