DAVID E. BEAVERS
David E. Beavers, 60, of Bardstown, died Sunday, June 1, 2014, at his home. He was born March 31, 1954, in Nelson County. He worked 27 years at Owen-Illinois and was the owner/ operator of David’s Lounge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Claude and Maggie Beavers.
He is survived by three daughters, Marty Boone, Maggie Beavers and Kimberly Beavers, all of Bardstown; one sister, Wanda Perkins; two brothers, Harold (Linda) Borders and Billy (Beverly) Beavers, both of Bardstown; and five grandchildren, Dylan Nalley, Kenlie Nalley, Madison Boone, David Andrew Boone and Dawson Morton.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery. The Rev. Dixie Kimberlin will officiate.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014, and 9-11 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014, at the funeral home.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
