Obituary: Jerome Benjamin Mudd, 63

Jerome Benjamin Mudd, 63, died Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Springfield Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born Aug. 8, 1950, in Bardstown and was a former lens technician for Southern Optical.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Hall Mudd; and his mother, Jewell Price Mudd.

He is survived by one daughter, Melissa (Greg Mudd) Woodson of Bardstown; his father, Joseph W. Mudd of Bardstown; four grandchildren, Tyler Mudd, Caitlin Mudd, Bethany Mudd, Isaiah Woodson; and several brothers and sisters.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2014, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown with cremation to follow the visitation.
