Roby files to keep his seat on Bardstown City Schools board of education

Friday, June 6, 2014 — Jim Roby, a member of the Bardstown Independent Schools board of education, has filed his petition to be a candidate for the office in the November general election.

Roby was appointed to fill the unexpired term of longtime board member Margie Bradford, who stepped down from the position. Roby’s current term expires Dec. 31, 2014.

Roby is no stranger to service on the city schools board of education. He previously served on the board from 1989 to 2005.
