Firefighters respond to active fire alarm early Saturday at Lowes
Saturday, June 14, 2014, 2:30 a.m. –– The Bardstown Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm early Saturday morning at Lowes, 3790 East John Rowan Blvd. Firefighters were called out at 1:11 a.m. after the store’s alarm company reported an active alarm with water flowing in the store. Firefighters arrived to find water flowing in the back of the lawn and garden section and traced the problem to what was believed to be a broken pipe. The store was advised to have the system repaired. Firefighters cleared the scene at 2:23 a.m.
