Obituary: Mary Louise Clark, 78, of New Haven

MARY LOUISE CLARK

Mary Louise Clark, 78, of New Haven, died suddenly at her home Friday, June 13, 2014. She was a Catholic by faith and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Culvertown. She was born and raised in New Hope to the late James R. Donahue and Pauline Linton.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Oscar Clark; one son, James Oscar Clark; and one brother, Joe Gilpin.

Survivors include five daughters, Phyllis (Carlos) Grimes and Jeanie (Martin) Flahiff, both of Bardstown, Angela (Joe Paul) Smith, Pamela Shain and Patricia Shain, all of New Haven; two sons, Carl (Betsy) Clark and Phillip Clark, both of New Haven; one brother, Jimmy Gilpin; 20 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

The funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Culvertown with the Rev. Troy Overton officiating. Burial is in the Holy Cross cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2014, and 8-9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven. A prayer service is 6 p.m. the Deacon Arnold Downs officiating.
