Elizabethtown chapter of NARFE to meet July 7 at Nolin RECC

— The Elizabethtown Chapter 1050 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees met recently for their monthly NARFE business update and program. Chapter president Mary Tom Haun introduced Nolin RECC Energy Services Coordinator Todd Drake, who in turn presented 14 energy-saving tips to the membership.

The July meeting is set for 11 a.m. July 7 in the Elizabethtown Nolin RECC conference room. Sam Alexander’s Service Center will be available from 9-11 a.m. to offer help with OPM and annuity issues for active and retired Federal employees.

July’s program will feature Paul Wimp from the Heartland Hearing organization. Members are encouraged to bring jars of peanut butter for the charity project for the month. Save the date for the evening pot luck meeting on 4 August at 6:30 PM. For information, contact Mary Tom Haun, (270) 862-9357.
