Obituary: Roger Dale Kennedy, 63, New Haven
Roger Dale Kennedy, 63, of New Haven, died suddenly at his residence Monday evening June 16, 2014.

He was born and raised in the Youngers Creek area by his late parents, Gilbert Walton and Margaret Inez Crady Kennedy. He was a member of the Rolling Fork Christian Church in Lyons Station. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Melvin Kennedy.
Survivors include his loving wife, Betty Kennedy; one son, Travis Kennedy (Heather) of Elizabethtown; six sisters, Wanda Kennedy, Geraldine Kennedy, Patty Hanneken and Jewell Kennedy, all of New Haven, and Audrey Aulbach and Susan Locklin, both of Elizabethtown; two grandchildren, Shelby Kennedy and Tucker Kennedy; Phillip Leon Duvall, whom he raised; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014, at the Rolling Fork Christian Church with Bro. Tim Underhill officiating.
Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home and 9-11 a.m. Thursday June 19, 2014, at the Rolling Fork Christian Church in Lyons Station. Burial is in the Edlin Creek Cemetery.
