Obituary: Beatrice Cull, 91, Bardstown
Beatrice Cull, 91, of Bardstown, died Sunday, June 22, 2014, at her home. She was born on Dec. 8, 1922, in Nelson County. She was a homemaker and farmer, and owned and operated Bea’s Antiques. She was a member of Bardstown United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Cull; one son, Robert “Bobby” Cull; her parents, Alonzo Larue and Goldie Gathon Young Allender; and three brothers, Elmo Allender, Wilbert Allender and Wesley Allender.
She is survived by three daughters, Brenda (Nolan) Hutchins of Bardstown, Dorothy (Charles) Yocum of Shepherdsville, and Barbara Rogers of Mount Washington; two sons, Melvin (Patty) Cull of Chaplin and Larry Cull of Bardstown; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Stith officiating. Burial is in the Bardstown Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2014, at the funeral home.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Bardstown United Methodist Church.
