Nelson County EMS transports 23-year-old after alleged drug overdose

Wednesday, June 25, 2014 — Nelson County EMS and police responded Tuesday night about 11 p.m. to a call of a possible drug overdose at a home in the 100 block of Cherokee Avenue in Bloomfield. EMS transported a 23-year-old woman who had was believed to have use cocaine, heroin and taken an unknown quantity of sleeping pills. She was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
