Two suffer minor injuries when Ford Mustang leaves eastbound BG Parkway

emslogoSaturday, July 5, 2014, 1:25 a.m. — Two teenagers suffered minor injuries early Saturday morning when the 1996 Ford Mustang they were in left the eastbound lanes of the Bluegrass Parkway near the 33 mile marker and struck a tree.

Two Nelson County EMS ambulances and police were called to the single-vehicle crash at 12:29 Saturday morning. One male teen complained of upper back pain; the second, a 16-year-old male, complained of lower back pain. Both were transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment. Two individuals in the vehicle refused treatment.
