Snellen family reunion set for Aug. 2 at Samuels Hall
Saturday, July 5, 2014 — The descendants of John Snellenbarger and related families (Snellen, Bowman, Ice, Portman, etc.) should mark their calendars for the Snellen Family Reunion on Aug. 2, 2014, at Samuels Hall at the 
Nelson County Fairgrounds on US31E, the New Haven Road, in Bardstown.
There will be a door prize for the oldest and youngest person who attends and signs in, and a door prize for the person that lives the farthest distance away.
There will be a blind swap too, so wrap up something you don’t want much and bring it, and then you will get the corresponding item matching whatever number you draw when the swap happens!
There will also be a 50-50 cash raffle, so bring some extra cash!
And naturally, there will be a meal at noon (awesome food of course!), so please bring a dish to share.
Donations will be asked for to help offset the cost of door prizes and building rental.
