Obituary: Kenneth William Smith, 83, Bardstown
Kenneth William Smith, 83, of Bardstown, died Friday, July 4, 2014, at his home. He was a native of Louisville, a retired employee of Gamble Bros with 30 years of service, an Army veteran of the Korean War, and was 
of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Joseph and Anna Christine McCawley Smith.
He is survived by one brother, Thomas J. Smith II of Nashville; one nephew, Thomas (Melissa) Young of Bardstown; and four great nephews, Jake Young, Travis Young, J.T. Young, and Nick Young.
The funeral is noon Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown. Burial is in the St. Stephens Cemetery in Louisville.
Visitation is 9-noon Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at the funeral home.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
