Obituary: Derrick Wayne Jenkins, 32, Bardstown
DEREK WAYNE JENKINS
Derrick Wayne Jenkins, 32, of Bardstown, died Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Norton Hospital-Brownsboro in Louisville. He was born Sept. 25, 1981, in Lawton, Oklahoma and attended the First Baptist Church in Bardstown.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerome and Barbara Crockett and Bessie and Dan Hays.
He is survived by his mother, Karen Crockett of Bardstown; his father, Harold Jenkins of Fisherville; three sisters, Jasmine Crockett of Bardstown, Barbara Bean of Louisville and Talayla Jenkins of Fisherville; two brothers, Vincent Bean of Louisville and William Jenkins of Fisherville; two nieces; and two nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2014, at the Bardstown Church of God with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014, and 9-11 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2014, at the church
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
