Bloomfield Road spill prompts response by Bardstown Fire Dept.

fireshieldTuesday, July 8, 2014, 7:40 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called out for a gasoline spill in front of Down Home Barbecue, 999 Bloomfield Road, at about 8 p.m. Monday night. Firefighters found that about five gallons of gasoline had been spilled in the roadway. Firefighters used absorbent material to remove the spilled fuel for disposal. They were on scene for about 10 minutes.
