Obituary: Randall Alvin Mattingly, 65, Loretto
Randall Alvin Mattingly, 65, of Loretto, died Monday, July 7, 2014, at Springfield Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born Aug. 24, 1948, in Loretto. He worked as an auto mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elias Alvin and Nellie Mae Brockman Mattingly; one son, Matt Mattingly; and one infant grandson, Braidyn Mattingly.
Survivors include three daughters, Margaret Milburn and Lynn Mudd (Rodney), both of Springfield, and Missy Mattingly (Tommy Stallings) of Loretto; one son, Joey Mattingly of Loretto; one sister, Joyce Hammond (Hugh) of Lebanon; two brothers, Carl Mattingly (Lisa) of Loretto and Robert “Cobb” Mattingly (Carlene) of St. Francis; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his companion, Jeanne Nunn of Loretto.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with burial in the St. Francis of Assisi cemetery. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at the funeral home.
The Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
