Bardstown Fire responds to active fire alarm at the Talbott Tavern

Friday, July 11, 2014, 11:55 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded Friday night at about 11:30 to an active fire alarm at the Old Talbott Tavern, 107 W. Stephen Foster Ave. There was no fire when firefighters arrived, and they traced the problem to a problem with an alarm pull station on the second floor. The restaurant was going to attempt repairs and advise Nelson County Dispatch when the alarm system was active again.
