Obituary: Pauline Wright, 65, Bardstown

Pauline Wright, 65, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, July 23, 2014. at her home. She was born Oct. 29, 1948, in funeral_flowerPaintsville. She was a homemaker and was affectionately known by all as “Mamaw”. She was a Baptist by faith. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Nelson County for their care and comfort, as well as her friend, Catherine Freeman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Verna and Luke Blevins; and one brother, Paul Blevins.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wright of Bardstown; three sons, Les (Alice) Webb of Paintsville, Kenny (Pam) Webb of Dayton, Ohio and Matthew (Monica) Hoskins of Bloomfield; three sisters, Pam Blevins and Charolette Owen, both of Piqua, Ohio, and Gretel Reid of Ohio; two brothers, Leo Blevins of Tampa, Fla. and William Blevins of Ohio; and eight grandchildren, Kayla, Beth, Alan, Jeremy, Cort, Miranda, Matthew Jr. and Brandi.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Old Liberty Cemetery in Bradfordsville with Pastor Gary Allen officiating.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014, and 9:30-11 a.m., July 25, 2014, at the funeral home.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
