Obituary: Effie Florence Vincent, 90, Bardstown
Effie Florence Vincent, 90, of Bardstown, died Friday, July 25, 2014, at Colonial Health & Rehab. She was born 
Aug. 17, 1923, in Bardstown. She was a homemaker and a member of Bardstown Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey K. Vincent Sr.; one daughter, Wanda Sue Vincent; four brothers, Sylvester Johnson, John Johnson, Bernard Johnson, and Jimmy Johnson; and one sister, Betty Lou Sanders.
She is survived by four sons, Dewey K. Vincent Jr., James Vincent, Robert Lee Vincent, and Ronnie Vincent all of Louisville; one brother, Leroy Johnson of Shepherdsville; and one granddaughter, Julie Ann Vincent of Elizabethtown.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery. Dr. Ted Taylor will officiate.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2014 and noon-2 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2014, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may go to Alzheimer’s Association.
