Election 2014: Richard Nest files as candidate for Bardstown City Council

Monday, July 28, 2014 — Maple Hill resident Richard Nest filed Monday morning to run as a candidate for a seat on the Bardstown City Council.

Nest ran in 2012 as a candidate for city council. In a press release issued at that time, Nest notes his experience in local government, which included service on the Cape Elizabeth, Maine cable advisory board and the Topsham, Maine planning board. He is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Nelson County.

The deadline to file for local non-partisan races is 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014.
