Obituary: Dorothy Prewitt, 75, Bardstown

DOROTHY PREWITT

Dorothy Prewitt, 75, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at her home. She was the former Dorothy Judd. She was born Sept. 15, 1938, in Bloomfield to the late Willie and Monnie Hahn Judd. She was a retired LPN for Flaget Hospital and was a member of Parkway Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Brittany Joe Prewitt; one stepgrandson, Paul Shelton; three sisters; and one brother.

She is survived by husband, Harold Prewitt; one daughter, Pam (Brad) Shelton of Elizabethtown; one son, H. Joseph (Eva) Prewitt of Bardstown; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Houghlin Funeral Home with burial in the Highview Cemetery. Bro. Bill Judd will officiate.

Visitation is 6-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014, and 9-11 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014, at the funeral home.

The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
