bardstownflag800Wednesday, July 30, 2014, 2:30 p.m. — A second resident of Maple Hill has thrown her hat in the ring for a seat on the Bardstown City Council.

Kecia Copeland, a resident of West Stephen Foster Avenue, filed Tuesday as a council candidate.

Copeland’s filing is the third so far seeking a seat on the Bardstown City Council. None of the incumbents have filed yet to keep their seat on the council, though councilman Tommy Reed earlier said he will not seek another term on the council.

The filing deadline for non-partisan races — including city council, city commission and school board — is 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12.
