Obituary: Connie B. Combs, 69, Shelbyville

Connie B. Combs, 69, of Shelbyville, died Monday, July 28, 2014, in Crestview Center in Shelbyville. She was born Sept. 30, 1944, in Bloomfield. She was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church, and a member of the Shelby Chapter Order of the Eastern Star No. 170.

She was the daughter of the late Philip L. and Sydney Brown Combs. She will be missed by her special family and friends, Bill and Jeannie Hays, Felicia Swigert, Carolyn Hyatt, and Ben Farris, all of Shelbyville.

A graveside service is 11 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014, at the Maple Grove Cemetery with Bro. Willard Knipp officiating. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Centenary United Methodist Church, 429 Main Street, Shelbyville, KY 40065.

The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
