Two teens injured in rollover crash Thursday on US 150 at Springhill Dr.

Thursday, July 31, 2014, 9 p.m. — Two teenagers were injured Thursday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover accident at the intersection of Springhill Drive and US 150, the Springfield Road. Police and Nelson County EMS were dispatched to the intersection at 1:04 p.m. after another officer drove up on the accident involving a vehicle pulling a utility trailer.
Bardstown Police were routing traffic past the crash site when an EMS ambulance was struck by a passing car while EMTs were evaluating the victims. A second EMS squad was dispatched to the scene to replace the damaged ambulance. A 19-year-old male complaining of right shoulder pain and a 13 year-old male who was struck in the head by debris were transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
