Election 2014: Williams is first incumbent to file for B’town City Council

Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, 10:20 a.m. — Incumbent Roland “Coach Roe” Williams filed Thursday as a candidate seeking to keep his seat on the Bardstown City Council.

Williams is the fourth candidate to file for the candidate and the first incumbent to do so. Williams joins Bobby Augustine, Richard Nest and Kecia Copeland who previously filed their candidate paperwork with the Nelson County Clerk’s office. Councilman Tommy Reed has announced he will not seek another term on the council.

The deadline to file for non-partisan races on the November 4 ballot is 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12.
