Woman riding bicycle struck by car Friday on W. John Rowan

Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, 11:50 a.m. — A woman riding her bicycle was struck by a car in the 100 block of West John Rowan Friday morning. Nelson County EMS and Bardstown Police were called to the roadway in front of Sleep Outfitters, 129 West John Rowan, for a woman hit by a vehicle. The woman, believed to be in her 40s, was operating her bicycle and said she was hit by a car. She was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital by EMS with complaints of back pain.
