Two girls injured Saturday evening in single-vehicle Quarry Lane crash

Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, 2:30 p.m. — Two girls were injured Saturday evening in a single vehicle crash in the 300 block of Quarry Lane. Nelson County EMS and police were dispatched to the scene at about 5:20 p.m. The injured — a 7-year-old girl with bruises to her face and a 6-year-old girl with a cut to her head — were taken from the scene by EMS and transported to Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville for evaluation and treatment of their injuries.
