EMS responds to report of man found with burns in Bloomfield

Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, 8 a.m. — Nelson County EMS was called Wednesday morning to a residence in the 100 block of Wickliffe Road near Bloomfield. EMS responded to a report of an individual with burns at 11:38 a.m. The victim, a 32-year-old male, was found in the floor of the home with second and third-degree burns on the left hand and abdomen. The victim was transported by EMS to a landing zone at American Fuji Seal and then flown by helicopter to University Hospital in Louisville. The Bardstown Fire Department was dispatched to help set up the Fuji Seal landing zone.
