Obituary: Roscoe William Barnes, Jr., 70, Lebanon Junction

Roscoe William Barnes, Jr., 70, of Lebanon Junction, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at his home. He was a former self-employed painter and attended the Lebanon Junction Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe William and Dorothy Hall Barnes.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mary Faye Arnett Barnes; four daughters, Sherry Dawson (Bill), Renee Branham (Dan), Christy Johns (David), and Shannon Cheser (Justin); one son, Jeremiah Barnes (Leann); eight sisters; one brother; two sister-in-laws; 14 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014, at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with burial to follow in the Lebanon Junction City Cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014, and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014, at the funeral home.

The Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
