Election 2014: Ford files as candidate for mayor of Fairfield

Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, 1 p.m. — Fairfield city commissioner Angela Ford filed Friday as a candidate for mayor of the City of Fairfield.

So far, Ford is the only candidate to file for mayor. Ford won a seat on the commission two years ago as a write-in candidate when only two people filed for the four seats on the city commission.

The filing deadline for the November 4 election is 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12.
