Obituary: Raymond Timothy ‘Beaver’ O’Bryan, 55, New Hope

Raymond Timothy “Beaver” O’Bryan, 55, of New Hope, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at University of Louisville Hospital.

RAYMOND TIMOTHY ‘BEAVER’ O’BRYAN

He was born Sept. 11, 1958, and he was a native of New Hope. He was a former employee of Maywood Golf Course in Bardstown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Mary Agnes Greenwell O’Bryan.

Survivors include one daughter, Angie Cooper (Allen) of Bardstown; one son, Patrick O’Bryan (Jenny Taylor) of Bloomfield; two sisters, Rita Mattingly (Pat) and Angela Brady (Jimmy), both of Bardstown; three brothers, Jody Greenwell (Margie) of Loretto, and Dale O’Bryan and Pat O’Bryan (Sandy), both of New Hope; and three grandchildren, Kaden Cooper, Ellie O’Bryan and McKenzie Cooper.

A Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 104 Church Street, New Hope, with cremation to follow.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. with Deacon Jim Cecil.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Brady, Justin Willett, Wayne Ayers and Bobby Williamson.

Memorial Donations may go toward funeral expenses.

Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
