Obituary: Garnet Joan Moore, 71, Gravel Switch

Garnet Joan Moore, 71, of Gravel Switch, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, at her residence. She was born Feb. 22, 1943, in Lebanon. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Moore (2008); her parents, Garnett Lee and Ada Weatherford Lanham; a twin daughter, Limley Hollen; and one sister, Trudy Orberson Lanham.

Survivors include twin daughter Kimberly Hays of Gravel Switch; one brother, Warren “Skipper” Lanham of Parksville; two grandsons, Billy Joe Hays of Columbia and Lee Hays of Gravel Switch; and one adopted grandson, Timmy Hays of Louisville.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014, at Bosley Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Jim Bratcher. Burial is in the Lebanon National Cemetery.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, at the funeral home.

Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
