Obituary: Kathleen Rafferty Medley, 97, Bardstown, formerly of Lebanon
Kathleen Rafferty Medley, 97, of Bardstown, formerly of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, at Life Care 
Center of Bardstown. She was born Aug. 22, 1916, in Loretto to the late William P. and Frances Estelle Nalley Rafferty.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Albert Medley; and two sisters, Libby Thomas and Margaret Cissell.
Survivors include one daughter, Margaret Downs of Raywick; six sons, David Medley (Martha) of Louisville, John Medley (Maria) and Mike Medley, both of Henderson, Nev., Jim Medley of Australia, Richard Medley of Wichita, and Steve Medley of Versailles; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 6785 Highway 52, St. Francis with burial in the church cemetery. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate.
Visitation is 2-4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.
